As winter sets in, tensions can rise, straining classroom dynamics. Midwinter Reset uses adventure-based learning to equip educators with practical tools for managing conflict and rebuilding classroom community through a restorative approach. 

Grounded in the stages of group development—forming, storming, norming, and performing—this workshop helps educators understand how conflict arises naturally and how to guide students through it constructively. Participants will engage in adventure-based activities that promote trust, communication, and empathy, while learning how to facilitate restorative conversations that repair harm and strengthen relationships. 

This session offers a proactive approach to conflict resolution, helping educators turn challenging moments into opportunities for growth. Administrators will see the benefits in improved classroom climate, stronger peer connections, and reduced behavioral disruptions—especially during the midyear slump.
