THERAPEUTIC ADVENTURE PROGRAMMING

This workshop focuses on foundational theories of therapeutic adventure, trauma-informed principles, and the core concepts of challenge by choice, full value commitments, and the experiential learning cycle.  It is designed for people working in alternative schools, including school counselors, social workers, teachers, clinicians, and staff from group homes or residential treatment centers. The workshop will be held over three days at our location in Beverly, MA.

Therapeutic adventure programming intensive: designing therapeutic support groups

This workshop focuses on how to design and facilitate ongoing therapeutic adventure support groups for positive behavioral health outcomes; topics include: effectively using the Facilitated Wave, facilitating group activities in trauma-informed ways, and utilizing assessment tools like the Stages of Group Development. This is a specialized workshop for professionals who provide positive behavioral health interventions for participants in schools, treatment centers, detention centers, and other specialized programs. The workshop will be held over three days at our location in Beverly, MA.
